What makes BORNARAB different?

BORNARAB creates contemporary art rooted in Arab culture, memory and identity — made for the homes we live in today.

Every collection begins with a place, a story or a feeling we recognise, then reimagines it through a contemporary visual language.

What is the difference between Canvas and Framed Canvas?

Canvas is professionally stretched over a 1.25" gallery-depth structure and designed to hang as it is.

Framed Canvas adds a floating outer frame around the stretched canvas for a more architectural, gallery-style finish.

Does my artwork arrive ready to hang?

Yes. BORNARAB Canvas and Framed Canvas artworks arrive stretched, assembled and ready to hang.

The exact hanging system may vary by size and production location. Wall screws or anchors suited to your wall are not necessarily included.

When will my artwork arrive?

Every BORNARAB artwork is made individually after your order is placed.

Your current estimated delivery window is displayed directly on the product page before you order, and tracking is sent once your artwork ships.

What exactly is a BORNARAB artwork?

BORNARAB creates contemporary art shaped by Arab culture, places, memories and identity.

Rather than reproducing familiar clichés, we reinterpret those references for contemporary homes and spaces.

Who creates BORNARAB artworks?

Collections may include work created by BornArab Studio, alongside selected artists, collaborations and future special editions.

The creator is identified on the relevant artwork page whenever applicable.

What is BornArab Studio?

BornArab Studio is BORNARAB's in-house creative studio, turning places, memories and everyday details from the Arab world into contemporary art.

Are BORNARAB artworks exclusive?

BornArab Studio collections are developed specifically for the BORNARAB universe.

If an artwork is limited, numbered or part of a special edition, this will be stated clearly on its product page.

Will the colours look exactly like they do on my screen?

We work to represent each artwork as accurately as possible.

Slight differences can occur because of screen settings, brightness, room lighting and the physical characteristics of printed canvas.

Will my artwork look pixelated when printed?

Artwork files are prepared and reviewed for the sizes in which they are offered, including resolution, composition and important visual details.

Does the artwork get cropped depending on the size?

We offer each artwork in compatible aspect ratios so its composition remains consistent across available sizes.

Small differences may occur around wrapped canvas edges, while important visual elements are kept away from those areas whenever possible.

Are room mockups exact representations of size?

Room mockups are designed to help you visualise an artwork in a real interior, but they should not be treated as exact measurements.

Always check the listed dimensions and measure your wall before ordering.

What type of canvas does BORNARAB use?

Our artworks are produced on premium matte stretched canvas selected for professional art reproduction.

The current BORNARAB Canvas format uses a substantial 1.25" gallery-depth construction.

Is the Canvas delivered stretched?

Yes. BORNARAB Canvas refers to a finished stretched canvas mounted onto its internal support structure.

It is not supplied as a loose canvas roll.

What is a floating frame?

A floating frame surrounds the stretched canvas while leaving a narrow visual gap between the artwork and outer frame.

This creates the appearance that the artwork is floating inside the frame.

What frame finishes are available?

Our current floating-frame options are shown directly on each product page and may include Black and Natural finishes.

Is there glass over a Framed Canvas?

No. Framed Canvas is still a stretched canvas placed inside a floating outer frame.

It is not a paper print presented behind glass.

Can I buy a frame separately?

Not currently. Floating frames are supplied as part of the selected Framed Canvas configuration.

What sizes are available?

The available dimensions are displayed directly on each artwork page.

We intentionally offer selected formats designed to preserve the original composition.

How do I choose the right size?

Measure the available wall space and consider marking the intended dimensions with removable masking tape before ordering.

Smaller formats work naturally as accents, while larger sizes create more of a statement above sofas, beds, consoles and dining areas.

Why aren't all artworks available in the same dimensions?

Different artworks are designed around different proportions.

Rather than forcing every composition into the same shape, we preserve the aspect ratio that best suits the original work.

Can I order a custom size?

Custom dimensions are not part of our standard online catalogue at launch.

For hospitality, commercial or interior-design projects requiring special formats or quantities, contact our team.

Do you work with interior designers, hotels or restaurants?

Yes. BORNARAB welcomes enquiries from interior designers, hospitality projects, restaurants, cafés, offices and other commercial spaces.

Where does BORNARAB currently deliver?

BORNARAB currently focuses on the United States, United Kingdom and Australia.

Additional markets will be introduced progressively as our production network expands.

Where is my artwork produced?

BORNARAB works with selected production partners and routes orders according to destination and product configuration.

Where possible, production is handled through an appropriate regional network while maintaining our product standards.

How much does shipping cost?

The applicable shipping cost is displayed before payment.

Where BORNARAB offers complimentary shipping, this will be shown directly on the product page or during checkout.

Will I receive tracking information?

Yes. Once your artwork is dispatched, tracking information is sent to the email address used during checkout.

Why hasn't my tracking updated?

Carrier tracking does not always update at every stage of transit and temporary gaps between scans can happen.

If your estimated delivery window has passed or tracking has remained unchanged for an unusual period, contact us with your order number.

Will I have to pay customs duties or import taxes?

Tax and import treatment can vary depending on destination and fulfilment location.

Any amounts collected directly by BORNARAB will be shown during checkout. Charges imposed separately by local authorities or carriers may apply where they are not collected in advance.

Can my order arrive in several parcels?

Yes. Orders containing several artworks, sizes or configurations may occasionally be produced or dispatched separately.

You may therefore receive more than one parcel or tracking number.

Tracking says delivered, but I can't find my parcel. What should I do?

Check your delivery address, reception or concierge, household members, neighbours, safe places and any carrier delivery photo or notice.

If the parcel still cannot be located, contact both the carrier and BORNARAB promptly.

When is my artwork produced?

Most BORNARAB artworks are made after your order is confirmed rather than held as finished stock.

Can I cancel or change my order?

Contact us as quickly as possible after ordering.

If production has not started, we will check whether your order can still be changed or cancelled. Once production begins, changes cannot be guaranteed.

Can I change my delivery address?

Contact us as soon as possible with your order number and corrected address.

Address changes cannot be guaranteed after production or shipping has begun.

What happens if I entered the wrong address?

Contact us immediately if you notice an address error.

If the parcel has already shipped, carrier redirection may no longer be possible and additional shipping charges can sometimes apply.

What happens if my parcel is returned to sender?

Contact BORNARAB and we will review why the shipment was returned and what resolution options are available.

Can I order several artworks together?

Yes. Different artworks, sizes and finishes can be purchased in the same order.

Depending on fulfilment requirements, they may occasionally arrive in separate parcels.

Do you offer discounts when buying several artworks?

Selected multi-artwork offers may be available. Current promotions and their conditions are displayed directly on the website.

Can discount codes be combined?

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, promotional offers and discount codes cannot be combined.

What payment methods do you accept?

Available payment methods are displayed during checkout and may vary by market, including major cards and supported digital wallets.

Is payment secure?

Payments are processed through secure Shopify checkout technology and enabled payment providers.

BORNARAB does not directly store your complete card number.

What happens if my artwork arrives damaged?

Contact us promptly with your order number and clear photographs of the artwork, damaged area and packaging.

Once the issue is verified, we'll provide the appropriate solution.

Can I return an artwork if I change my mind?

BORNARAB artworks are generally produced specifically after an order is placed.

Change-of-mind returns are therefore subject to our return policy and any mandatory consumer rights that apply to your order.

What if I receive the wrong artwork, size or frame?

Contact us with your order number and photographs of the item received.

If it does not match your confirmed order, we will review the case and provide the appropriate solution.

What if there is a printing defect?

Send us photographs showing both the complete artwork and a close-up of the suspected issue.

If a genuine production defect is confirmed, we will make it right.

What isn't considered a printing defect?

Slight screen-to-print colour differences, variations caused by room lighting and normal characteristics of printed canvas do not necessarily indicate a defect.

Materially incorrect artwork, size, finish, orientation or print-quality issues will be reviewed individually.

Do I have to return a damaged artwork?

In many cases photographs may be sufficient for us to assess a damaged artwork.

Please do not return or discard the artwork unless BORNARAB asks you to do so.

How quickly should I report damage?

Please contact us as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

Clear photographs of both the artwork and packaging help us resolve transit-damage cases more efficiently.

Will I receive a replacement or refund?

The appropriate solution depends on the issue and circumstances.

Where appropriate, this may include replacement, refund or another remedy required under applicable consumer rights.

What does BORNARAB mean?

BORNARAB is built around a simple idea: Arab identity deserves a contemporary visual language of its own.

We create and curate art rooted in the places, memories, cultures and stories that connect Arabs around the world.

Is BORNARAB only for Arabs?

No. BORNARAB is rooted in Arab culture, but the art can be collected by anyone who connects with the work, its story or its visual language.

Why are only some countries represented?

We're building BORNARAB collection by collection rather than launching every country with generic artwork.

Our first universes focus on Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Egypt and Islamic Art. More will follow.

Will you create collections for more Arab countries?

Yes. The long-term vision is to build a contemporary art universe spanning the Arab world and its diaspora, introducing new countries, cities and stories progressively.

Will BORNARAB work with artists?

Yes. BORNARAB is being built not only as an art store, but as a platform for contemporary Arab creativity.

Future collections will introduce selected artists and creatives from across the Arab world and diaspora.

Will you release limited editions?

Selected collaborations and special releases may be offered as limited or numbered editions.

Edition details will always be stated clearly on the relevant artwork page.

Can stores, designers or businesses work with BORNARAB?

Yes. We welcome selected hospitality, interior-design, commercial and retail enquiries.
